SENIOR MANAGEMENT ON DUTY AT WEEKENDS

Unlike the vast majority of Nursing and Care Homes, where Manager’s end their working week on a Friday afternoon and reappear again on a Monday morning, here at The Old Deanery Care Village a Senior member of the Management Team is always on duty at weekends. They can be found meeting and greeting residents/relatives, showing people around our Care Village and helping to support our staff teams.
The positive feedback to this initiative has been amazing, everyone feels valued and supported and those relatives who can only visit at weekends, tell us they can now have a face to face conversation with a Manager, whereas before it had to be done by either phone or email.
