New Minibus

We are proud to announce to have taken delivery of our new minibus. This new addition to the facilities will be a boon to our Activity Programme as it will enable us to take our residents out on trips more regularly.
Previously we have had to rely on booking the Community Transport through Braintree District Council, which has worked out well in the past but we have always had to fit in around the slots that were available. Now we will be able to plan ahead plus we will have the option of maybe short notice jaunts, especially in the summer when the weather may determine whether trips are advisable.
The minibus includes The Old Deanery Care Village signage in purple on silver so keep your eyes peeled for it on the roads around Braintree some time soon!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
In order to get the most out of the new minibus service, we will need more people to help out on the trips. If you are willing to give a few hours towards helping our residents have a great outing (and are up for some fun!) please see Beverley, Jackie or Fran or alternatively, Sharon Burnett in the front office.
