Cooking Time Again

All of our units in St Mary’s Court have satellite kitchens, where staff and residents can spend some time cooking and baking. Ash Unit (for Young Onset Dementia) especially enjoy doing some baking and more importantly sharing the products of these sessions over a cup of tea together. Having fun and sharing experiences of life is of great importance to us all. The staff are learning how cooking and baking was done by our residents before the invention of microwave food.
