The Old Deanery Care Village is found in the charming village of Bocking, which provides the ideal setting for retirement living. The village stands on the left bank of the Blackwater river, adjacent to Braintree Town in an area of natural beauty with a relaxed pace of life. The Old Deanery, forming the focal point of the care village, is a 16th century manor house, grade II restored and artfully refurbished. Its array of original features has been lovingly brought to life highlighting their historic beauty. The building has recently been extended and refurbished and now provides over 90 extremely spacious, individual, beautifully appointed residences. Facilities now include an Orangery, an array of private lounges, peaceful rest areas and a contemporary bistro overlooking the beautiful grounds.
